Credit utilization calculator

Credit utilization — how much of your available revolving credit you’re using — is one of the most influential score factors you can change quickly. Enter your balances and limits to see where you stand.

Enter each revolving account (credit card or line of credit). Nothing you type here is stored or sent anywhere.

How utilization works, briefly

Scoring models look at your reported balances relative to your credit limits, both per card and overall. Lower is generally better, and — unlike late payments — utilization has no memory in most scoring models: when lower balances report, the factor updates. That makes it a practical early lever when you’re rebuilding. For the full picture, see the credit utilization guide.

Chapter 7 means test walkthrough

A second private tool: the Chapter 7 means test walkthrough reproduces the six-month income arithmetic of Official Form 122A-1 against a state median you look up yourself, then explains the above-median step. It describes the math and never returns an eligibility verdict.

More tools coming

In quality order: a debt validation deadline estimator, a debt lawsuit urgency triage, and a bankruptcy document checklist builder. Each will be educational only — no tool on this site will ever tell you what you “should” file or sign.

Between 0% and 99.9%.

Choose a term between 2 and 7 years.
