Credit Llama
Credit Defense Hub teaches you how things work. Credit Llama — built by the same team — is a self-guided workspace for organizing the identity-defense steps you take yourself: your freezes, your alerts, your opt-outs, your paper trail.
Related tool · Same publisher, disclosed · Self-guided — you take every action
What it helps with
- Tracking credit-freeze and fraud-alert confirmations across all three bureaus, with the dates you set them
- Keeping a record of the data-broker opt-out requests you have sent and their status
- Organizing identity-theft affidavits, police reports, and FTC reports in one place
- Working through educational, self-paced modules on identity defense, credit, and debt
What it is not
Credit Llama is not a credit monitoring service, not a law firm, not a credit repair organization, and not a financial advisor. It does not freeze or unfreeze your credit, does not remove your information from data-broker sites, does not dispute anything on your behalf, and does not monitor your credit or identity for you. It does not promise any score change or outcome, and it does not prevent or guarantee protection against identity theft. You take the actions and enter your own information — the tool’s job is to help you keep track of what you have done and when.
Why we built it this way
The identity-protection industry is full of subscription services charging monthly fees to “watch your back.” We took the opposite approach: teach the steps openly on this site, and offer an optional tool for people who want a simple, organized record of the freezes, alerts, and opt-outs they have already done themselves.
Free education here never requires it. If you never click that button, every guide, template, and checklist on this site still works for you.
